Deane Barker’s fervor for content management systems is a large part of his professional success. But don’t get the wrong idea. Excitement over CM is not enough; I even catch that from time-to-time. His knowledge is like a Great Lake: expansive, deep and he knows it cold. And he uses that knowledge as a Content Management Evangelist to push: developers to make better systems, clients into buy better systems and his community to use better systems. He also exhibits a number of service differentiators (identified by marketing guru Seth Godin as The Intangibles) in his daily work at Blend, which is awesome to see.
