•••• Tikka Masala

Along with Presidents of the United States, this shit makes me cry:

^ Power eater

Amy and I prepared her favorite UK dish, Tofu Tikka Masala. This dish is so cool like five years ago in England. It’s ridiculously easy to prepare and we had a great time sharing the kitchen, the happy hour wines and the dessert. ;)
Amy clears her plate; a true masala power-eater. I, on the other hand, with my slow savoring and idle chit-chat earn the just plain “sad” eater award. Which is totally contrary to how I usually eat.

RE: times 4 on “•••• Tikka Masala”

  1. Ross says:

Presidents of the United States as in the leaders of this country or the band? If the latter, I’ve got millions of peaches to throw at you…

  2. Benxamin says:

Presidents of the United States of America the band.
The peaches song was the first one for our baby rottie, Bella. We were driving out of the country with our new puppy. It was one of those really sweet moments of two youngsters in love, and we had this new, black furball of life. And PotUSA was randomly on the radio and we took turns humming the chorus to our puppy.

  3. Rhonda Gamache says:

What’s your recipe for Tikka Masala? The whole family loves Sweet Potato Masala and Chicken Tikka Masala and we go to Indian every few weeks. If Zanon had a choice, he’d only eat at Yak and Yeti and Namiko’s Japanese Restaurant (for the sushi, of course).

  4. Benxamin says:

Fry tofu in my oil blend (canola, soy, olive and “Mongolian Fire”). Then add one jar of tikka masala sauce!

It’s total cheating, I know. I’ll have to get a recipe. From what I understand it’s like tomato soup with spices.
